Robert Half International Payroll Administrator in Houston, Texas
Are you a Payroll Administrator with experience in Sage 300/Timberline software? If so, Accountemps may have the position for you! Our client located in North Houston is looking to add a Payroll Administrator to their team on a Temporary to Full-time basis beginning immediately! The Payroll Administrator must have a minimum of 3 years of recent experience processing payroll in Sage 300/Timberline and will perform all functions necessary for the preparation and processing of employee payroll. Responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator:
Draft reports by organizing all summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages
Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll
Detail all payroll liabilities by establishing employee federal and state income and social security taxes and employer social security, unemployment, and worker compensation payment
Execute relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
Collect and analyze information including resolving payroll discrepancies
Manage issues related to employee deductions and other liabilities, including reconciling
Report needed changes after maintaining payroll operations according to established policies and procedures
Protect confidential payroll and employee information
Proper payroll information maintenance by collecting, calculating, and entering data into Sage 300/Timberline
Track payroll record changes by entering updates in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers
Manage payroll information requests and questions
3+ years of payroll experience required
Experience processing payroll in Sage300/ Timberline required
Timekeeping System experience
Intermediate Excel skills
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
