Robert Half Payroll Analyst in Houston, Texas
Description Robert Half is looking to bring an experienced Payroll Clerk onto a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Payroll department in a variety of duties, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. You should be able to successfully communicate with both the internal team and outside customers. How you will make an impact
Build and run custom reports
Contact employees via email and phone to obtain timesheet approvals
Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system
Ensure reports are distributed as instructed
Ensure efficient operation of the department by performing clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, photocopying, etc.
Fulfill other duties as assigned
Maintain employee confidence by delivering instruction and training to employees regarding the function of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc. Requirements - 5+ years of previous payroll experience
Detailed and have the ability work independently
Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Full Cycle Payroll experience desired
Expertise in SAP
Ability to easily learn new systems
Strong communication and social skills
Highly organized and self-motivated
Qualified in Payroll software
