Description
A client of ours is on the lookout for a meticulous Payroll Clerk to join their team for a long term contract. The position is based in the North Houston area and offers a hybrid schedule. As a Payroll Clerk, your main role will be to manage payroll data entry and support with special projects. This role also involves maintaining accurate payroll records and ensuring customer inquiries are resolved efficiently. Please apply today for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient entry of payroll data.
• Provide support for special projects as needed.
• Ensure all payroll records are maintained and updated.
• Resolve any payroll-related inquiries from customers.
• Utilize the HRIS Payroll System to manage and monitor customer accounts.
• Use the Paylocity system, if available, to enhance payroll management efficiency.
• Handle multi-state payroll tasks accurately.
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Payroll Clerk or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using Paylocity payroll software.
• Certification in Payroll is highly preferred
• Experience with HRIS Payroll Systems is a must.
• Strong data entry skills are essential.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in processing multi-state payroll.
