Description We are on the hunt for a PC Technician in Houston, Texas. This role is part of a dynamic team within the computer hardware industry, offering a short term contract employment opportunity. The role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems within the company.
Responsibilities:
• Installation of computer hardware systems and network devices.
• Troubleshooting to diagnose system problems, including hardware and software, networking, and system/application access.
• Proficiency in using Dell Technologies for system operations and maintenance.
• Demonstrate expertise in Linux Technologies for running various applications.
• Conducting A/B tests to improve system performance.
• Managing Active Directory for user and resource management.
• Handling Apple Devices for system compatibility and troubleshooting.
• Implementing Backup Technologies to ensure data safety and integrity.
• Cable Installation for network systems and computer hardware.
• Database management, including storing, retrieving, securing, and manipulating data. Requirements • Proficiency in Computer Hardware operations and maintenance
• Demonstrated knowledge in Database management
• Experience with Dell Technologies
• Familiarity with EO/IR systems
• Proficient in Linux Technologies
• Experience in AB Testing and analysis
• Skilled in managing Active Directory
• Ability to service and troubleshoot Apple Devices
• Knowledge of Backup Technologies
• Experience in Cable Installation tasks
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
