Description
We are offering a contract for a Power Apps Developer role in Houston, Texas. As a part of our team, you will be majorly involved in Power Platform and Power Apps development, supporting diverse high-impact projects within a complex corporate environment. You will design and develop Power Apps solutions to streamline business processes, enhance data accessibility, and deliver insightful analytics to support strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Design and develop Power Apps solutions that enhance data accessibility and streamline business processes.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Develop custom connectors and manage environments.
• Monitor usage and optimize applications to meet changing needs.
• Implement security standards and best practices, including DLP (Data Loss Prevention) policies and role-based access control.
• Develop complex workflows, automate processes, and manage Power Automate flows.
• Create and manage entities, fields, and relationships in Dataverse, SQL Server, and/or SharePoint.
• Have a focus on governance, security, and integration across the Power Platform to maintain data integrity and compliance.
• Experience with ALM practices for the Power Platform, including source control, solution management, and deployment pipelines.
Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience in providing training to team members
• Knowledge in policy development and enforcement
• Strong analytic skills
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and procedures
• Ability to design effective business intelligence solutions
• Understanding of security protocols and measures
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues
• Experience with automation tools and strategies
• Familiarity with industry practices and standards
• Ability to interpret and utilize financial notes
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Skills in optimization of business processes
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience in liaising with stakeholders at all levels
• Experience in integration of business intelligence tools
• Proficiency in using monitoring tools
• Adherence to best practices in business intelligence
• Knowledge in storage systems management
• Experience in streamlining business processes
• Proficiency in deployment of business intelligence tools
• Understanding of business intelligence principles
• Willingness to work onsite when required
