Robert Half Production Revenue Accountant in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the heart of Houston, Texas for a skilled Production Revenue Accountant. This role is within the telecom provider industry and will require an individual who can effectively handle accounting functions, particularly in relation to production and revenue. The workplace is a dynamic environment that demands proficiency in accounting software systems, Microsoft Office Suites and in-depth knowledge of full cycle accounting.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize accounting software systems for accurate financial management and reporting
• Managing and maintaining the ADP - Financial Services system
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites for data management and presentation
• Handle all incoming and outgoing emails and other communications through Microsoft Outlook
• Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring compliance with financial laws and guidelines
• Manage accounts receivable (AR) and ensure timely collection of payments
• Oversee the financial aspects of facility management
• Perform full cycle accounting duties, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date
• Monitor and maintain financial records for gas plants to ensure accurate revenue tracking. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required.
• Command over Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites is required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook is essential.
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is necessary.
• Knowledge in Accounts Receivable (AR) is a must.
• Familiarity with Facility management is necessary.
• Experience with Full Cycle accounting is essential.
• Knowledge of Gas Plants is required.
