Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Houston, Texas

Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Houston, Texas. The primary job function will be to lead IT project teams, ensure timely delivery of all projects, and manage all activities within the IT department. The role will require strategic planning, coordination, and execution of IT projects.

Responsibilities:

• Initiating, designing, planning, and executing all stages of an IT project, including schedule, budget, and risk analysis.

• Coordinating with internal resources, vendors, and stakeholders for the flawless execution of projects.

• Building and managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other departments.

• Overseeing and managing project progress and adapting work as required.

• Designing high-quality technical reports and presenting them to higher management.

• Evaluating and managing project risk and issue management plans.

• Assisting team members and providing guidance on project tasks.

• Developing and maintaining necessary project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and post-mortem reviews.

• Identifying and implementing process improvements as necessary.

• Utilizing skills in Atlassian Jira, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, About Time, AB Testing, Budget Processes, Deliverable, and Design. Requirements • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Consultant

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and CRM

• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems and About Time software

• Experience in AB Testing and understanding its implications on project outcomes

• Ability to manage the Budget Processes of projects

• Capacity to ensure timely Deliverable of project tasks

• Strong understanding of Design principles relevant to the project domain

• Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred

• Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 would be advantageous

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
