Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Houston, Texas

Description We are in search of a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to be part of our team in Houston, Texas. The role will involve overseeing various projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, providing solutions and making key decisions that will impact the success of our projects. This is a long-term contract opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a variety of projects, ensuring they are completed within the set timeframe and budget.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project objectives, deliverables, and timelines.

• Utilize project management methodologies and tools to manage, track, and report on project progress.

• Identify, assess, and manage potential risks and issues that could impact project outcomes.

• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

• Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making processes to address project challenges.

• Monitor project performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure objectives are met.

• Provide regular project updates to relevant stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and proposed solutions.

• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.

• Utilize your Project Management skills to drive the success of our projects. Requirements • Applicant must possess a bachelor's degree or higher in a related field

• Proven experience in project management is essential

• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and tools

• Must have excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets effectively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of individuals

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• PMP certification is preferred but not required

• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus
