Robert Half is assisting a growing client to identify a Property Accountant for their corporate team. As a Property Accountant you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our diverse property portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely accounting for multiple properties. Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements for various property types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for stakeholders and management.
Oversee lease accounting activities, including rent billing, collections, and reconciliation.
Work closely with property management teams to ensure lease terms are accurately reflected in the accounting system.
Manage property-related expenses, including property taxes, insurance, and common area maintenance (CAM) charges.
Conduct regular expense reviews and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Collaborate with property managers to develop annual property budgets.
Assist in forecasting financial performance and variances, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Address tenant inquiries related to financial matters and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of [2 years of experience in property accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Excel
