Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Regional Controller based in Houston, Texas. As the Regional Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic financial decision-making for the region.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, helping to ensure the successful operation of the region.

• Oversee all accounting and financial management activities within the region.

• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on key decisions impacting the organization.

• Ensure that the accounting standards and policies are enacted upon by all parts of the region.

• Manage the financial interests of the region within acceptable accounting principles and with due cognizance of the relevant local and international commercial laws.

• Oversee financial forecast, planning, and analysis for the region.

• Monitor and control the financial performance for the Region, providing accurate reporting within the agreed timetable to the Regional Leadership and Group Finance teams.

• Implement agreed business strategies and processes, providing technical advice to regional management.

• Make major contributions to the successful running of the Region in strategic and operational matters.

• Utilize skills in Statutory Accounting to enhance efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting and CPA

• Extensive experience in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes.

• Proven ability in managing and coordinating financial audits.

• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage regional teams.

• Ability to comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

• Proven experience in budget development and oversight.
