Description

We are offering a long-term employment opportunity for a Release Manager in Houston, Texas. This role is crucial in our operations industry, where you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects, driving release processes, and managing risks and dependencies.

Responsibilities:

• Align with Solution Architects during initiate and confirm phases and perform ongoing monitoring for external dependencies across process domains.

• Develop preliminary project plans and scope for each release, including a risk analysis to the planned timeline.

• Act as a Sub-Process Owner supporting process initiatives and process alignment activities in the Opportunity to Cash process domain.

• Participate in the scheduling and design of solution confirmation and template design workshops.

• Drive the release process and cadence, collect and report on release metrics in alignment with Value Realization Lead.

• Continuously monitor and improve subsequent release plans based on lessons learned.

• Provide guidance and coaching to delivery teams for risk mitigation and issue escalation.

• Serve as a communication liaison between deployment teams, overseeing the cutover and deployment to production.

• Own and drive the release planning process, ensuring site preparedness for release.

• Use your skills in Project Management, Planning Processes, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, and Leadership Skills to achieve these outcomes.

Requirements • Proficient in communication and reporting skills

• Experience in operations and planning processes

• Knowledge of quality control and cash activity management

• Expertise in scheduling and project management

• Ability to deliver effective presentations

• Familiarity with the concept 'About Time' and workstation support

• Proven ability to implement strategies

• Strong leadership skills with experience in production

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Experience in acting as a liaison between different stakeholders

• Proficiency in forecasting and Microsoft PowerPoint

• Willingness to travel as per job requirements

• Experience in metric reporting and effective communication skills

• Knowledge of various methods and monitoring tools
