Position Overview: The National Sales Manager will play a key leadership role in the growth of its wholesale business.

Core Responsibilities: 1. Research and maintain current national retail accounts to build a book of business to grow the revenue and profitability of organization along with the sales team 2. Establish and nurture productive, professional relationships with key accounts 3. Negotiate wholesale agreements with new and existing customers 4. Create promotions that increase in-season and out-season sales volume 5. Coordinate with production team to keep inventory levels steady 6. Work directly with individual buyers and organizations to create working sales relationships 7. Assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing business – stay ahead of the trends 8. Facilitate teamwork and high-level communications between any internal and external customers 9. Solicit and develop new businesses with national reach and scalability

Skill Set Requirements 1. Excellent math skills 2. Demonstrated sales skills with prior job experience 3. Leadership and entrepreneurial experience 4. Results-driven 5. Affinity to creative problem solving 6. Ability to work independently 7. Strong merchandising skills and ability to translate creative merchandising strategies into meaningful sales results 8. Champion for change that improves efficiencies and delivers results

Education & Experience 1. Bachelor's Degree required 2. Minimum 2 years of retail or wholesale sales experience selling collegiate apparel or merchandise across B2B or B2C verticals 3. Experience in retail, manufacturing or beauty supplies is a must 4. Advanced knowledge of Retail Link and MS Office Proficiency (especially excel) 5. Travel approximately 20-40% for events and sales opportunities 6. Management experience with a small team of direct reports
