We are a leading technology company in the Houston area, specializing in providing innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team. This is an onsite position based in Houston, Texas, and visa transfers are eligible for this position.
Role Overview:
As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Salesforce applications. You will work closely with the development team, business stakeholders, and Salesforce administrators to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. Your expertise in Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and HTML will be crucial in driving successful Salesforce projects.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and HTML.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and Salesforce administrators, to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Develop custom applications and integrations on the Salesforce platform to meet business needs.
Perform unit testing and ensure the quality of developed code.
Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing Salesforce applications, providing timely resolutions.
Maintain thorough documentation of code, configurations, and integrations.
Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the team's overall development quality.
Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Strong experience in Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and HTML.
Proficient in Salesforce customization, configuration, and integration.
Familiarity with declarative features such as Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and Approval Processes.
Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and sharing rules.
Experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs.
Ability to write efficient, reliable, and scalable code.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Platform Developer I/II or Salesforce Administrator, are a plus.
Experience with Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce DX.
Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS.
