Robert Half SEC Reporting Manager in Houston, Texas
Description We are offering an opportunity in the Oil & Gas Services industry in Houston, Texas, for the role of SEC Reporting Manager. This role involves managing and overseeing the reporting of financial statements in compliance with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations. This is a contract employment opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience in the dynamic energy sector.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of all external financial reporting documents and filings required by the SEC
• Ensure compliance with all SEC rules and regulations in the financial reports
• Use accounting and financial reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion Technologies, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning) to generate accurate financial reports
• Collaborate with the external auditors to ensure that all financial reports are accurately presented and disclosed
• Oversee and manage accounting functions within the organization to ensure the accuracy of financial data
• Use CyberSource and EPS to automate and streamline the financial reporting process
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards
• Regularly review and update the company's financial reporting procedures and policies
• Stay updated on changes to SEC reporting requirements and ensure these changes are accurately reflected in the company's financial reports
• Address any inquiries or concerns related to the company's financial reports promptly and professionally. Requirements • Must have proficiency in CyberSource and EPS.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is required.
• Experience with HFM and Hyperion Technologies is essential.
• Proficient in executing Accounting Functions.
• Must have a strong understanding of Compliance and Disclosures.
• Experience with External Audit is necessary.
• Must be skilled in Financial Reporting in the Oil & Gas Services industry.
• Adept at managing SEC reporting.
