We are inviting applications for the role of a Sr. Accountant in our Houston, Texas office. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate and timely financial management reports, processing accounts payable, managing accounts receivable, and monitoring operating results against the budget and prior year's figures.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including internal monthly financial statements, cash collections, partner income, and revenue analysis.

• Maintain all accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, petty cash, employee expense reports, cash control, payroll processing, and total corporate payroll tax compliance.

• Manage all accounts receivable aging components including billings, and cash receipts application.

• Handle all accounting issues and services including accurate and timely financial statements production and billing and account statement production.

• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against both budget and prior year’s actual.

• Review benchmark reports for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.

• Prepare financials and schedules for rear end tax and franchise tax returns.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Leverage skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks, and Financial Statement Preparation.

Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Sr. Accountant role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required

• Must have in-depth knowledge of General Ledger operations and Journal Entries

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Must have experience with Quickbooks Online and QuickBooks

• Demonstrated ability in Financial Statement Preparation

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Must have a strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
