Sr. Accountant - Internal and External Financial Reporting, Consolidations, and Financial Analysis

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to help manage our internal and external financial reporting, consolidations, and financial analysis. The Senior Accountant will be a key member of the finance team and will be responsible for managing the monthly close processes, performing variance analysis, and preparing financial statements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, experience with consolidations, and a deep understanding of financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly close processes, requiring collaboration with international locations, FP& A, and site controllers.

• Prepare and manage consolidated financial statements including the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.

• Perform variance analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for internal and external reporting.

• Assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K, and other ad hoc financial reporting as needed.

• Serve as project lead for financial reporting and consolidations projects.

• Assist with the compliance with Federal Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and other regulatory requirements

• Assist with the preparation for quarterly and annual audits, including coordination with external auditors.

• Interface with various departments to gather information, resolve issues, and provide financial expertise as needed.

Requirements

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is strongly preferred.

• Minimum of seven years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least two years of experience at a publicly-traded company or public accounting firm.

• Experience with financial systems including OneStream, SAP ERP, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), SAP Business Intelligence (BI) is a plus.

• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience with SEC reporting.

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail.

• Team player with a strong work ethic and a self-driven attitude.
