Description
Job Duties:
You will be tasked with compiling precise financial records and presenting them monthly, quarterly, and annually.
In addition, you will assist in generating internal reports, such as variance analyses and forecasts.
Account for and reconcile all items in the general ledger to deliver accurate financial reporting.
You will be expected to manage daily activities, including making journal entries, carrying out account reconciliations, and concluding month-end procedures.
Observing and interpreting accounting data and compiling financial reports or statements when required.
Supervise account payable and receivable procedures, ensuring all payments and collections are done promptly.
You will be responsible for validating and processing invoices according to established financial guidelines.
Identify and communicate any inconsistencies between documented financial records and accounts associated with vendors or customers.
Assisting in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Help senior management in evaluating financial performance and pinpointing potential opportunities for cost savings.
Provide support for audit activities, including preparing for audits and supplying requisite documentation and explanations when needed.
Proactively identify opportunities for process upgrades and propose alterations to streamline workflow.
When necessary, enact new accounting protocols and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborating with various departments to deliver financial insights and assist in decision-making.
Report financial results and statements to management and stakeholders when required.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
You should possess a Bachelor's degree in a field such as Accounting or Finance. A CPA or similar qualification is beneficial but not compulsory.
Between 4 to 5 years of experience in Accounting
Advanced knowledge and practical proficiency in Microsoft Excel is sought, including the effective use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, etc.
Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, superior organizational abilities, and robust analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
You must exhibit the capacity to work independently, handling multiple responsibilities and meeting strict deadlines in a dynamic environment
