We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for our machinery manufacturing company located in Houston, Texas. The role entails managing financial planning, budget processes, and capital management in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health and facilitating the growth of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Develop and implement capital management strategies to optimize the use of financial resources

• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to inform strategic decisions and initiatives

• Generate ad hoc reports as needed to provide insights and support decision-making processes

• Apply analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and assess financial performance

• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data for financial analysis

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards in all financial operations

• Provide financial advice to management to aid in business decision making

• Monitor and analyze financial information, predicting trends and potential risks.

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position within the Machinery Manufacturing industry

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in Budget Processes and Capital Management

• Proficient in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A)

• Ability to conduct Ad Hoc Financial Analysis and Reporting

• Demonstrable Analytical Skills and ability to interpret complex financial data

• Must hold a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions based on data

• Proficiency in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Knowledge of industry regulations and guidelines on finance and accounting.
