We're currently on the lookout for a skilled Sr. Financial Analyst. In this role, you'll be in charge of both the preparation of financial statements and assistance with the annual budget, along with performing various analyses for senior executives. Your duties will also include maintaining data in accounting and finance modeling software, and assisting with audit activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly financials, ratios, and slides for the board packet.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Maintain budget data in budget forecasting software.
• Provide variance explanations for monthly budget variances.
• Perform various “What-If” scenarios within the forecasting software.
• Prepare and distribute quarterly profitability reports to department managers and senior executives.
• Produce reports for Asset/Liability Management Committee meetings and Pricing Committee meetings.
• Work closely with senior/executive management to develop strategies to improve department efficiencies.
Qualification and Skills:
• 5 years of finance/forecasting experience with a finance or accounting degree or 10 years of finance/forecasting experience without a degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Economics or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Asset/Liability Management, CECL and/or BASEL Analysis, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Proven experience in interpreting and analyzing numerical calculations. • Working knowledge of Jack Henry software (ProfitStar) is preferred.
• Previous experience in a Bank or Credit Union is a plus.

Requirements • Must have proficiency in business systems and CRM
• Experience with Confluence is required
• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is essential
• Must have knowledge of Data Mining Techniques and About Time software
• Must possess strong accounting functions and auditing skills
• Experience with budget processes and capital management is necessary
• Proficiency in ProfitStars Software is required
• Must have experience in Asset Liability Management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Must have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in the Credit Union industry is highly preferred
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must adhere to all company policies and procedures.
