Robert Half International Sr Tax Accountant in HOUSTON, Texas
New in the North Houston area, our client, a well-established Regional Tax Firm, is looking to add a Senior Tax Accountant or experienced Tax Manager as they continue to see growth. The ideal Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager candidate should be experienced primarily with preparing a mix of Corporate, Partnership, Trust, Individual returns as well as prepare financial statements for a number of dedicated clients and tackle specific projects per clients' requests. In this varied role, you will be challenged.
Requirements for the Senior Tax Accountant/Tax Manager are as follows:
Degree in Accounting
Must be an active CPA licensed or CPA eligible
5+ years of progressive experience specializing in tax with a local CPA firm
Solid understanding of tax laws and regulations
Some experience reviewing the work of others will be highly valued.
Interact well with others in a team environment, as well as being able to work independently
Advanced degree in Tax a plus
Requirements Payroll Tax, Tax - Sales & Use, Tax - Partnership, Tax - Individual, Tax - Corporate, Tax - Research & Planning
CPA or in process of pursuing
Bachelors or Masters in Accounting
