Description We are seeking a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our company's tax-related tasks. Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all corporate tax operations
• Utilize software such as Adobe Acrobat, ATX Tax Software, CCH ProSystem Fx, CCH Sales Tax, and Compliance software to perform tasks efficiently
• Perform accounting functions related to tax management
• Prepare and manage annual income tax provision
• Conduct auditing activities to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Ensure all tax-related documentation is accurate and up-to-date
• Apply knowledge of ASC 740 in tax-related tasks
• Manage corporate income tax processes
• Utilize CPA skills in the execution of tax-related tasks
• Ensure all tax compliance tasks are performed to standard. Requirements • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat
• Experience with ATX Tax Software
• Familiarity with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
• Knowledge of compliance software
• Ability to perform accounting functions
• Experience with annual income tax provision
• Auditing skills
• Compliance and documentation skills
• Understanding and experience of ASC 740
• Expertise in corporate income tax
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred
