This Treasury Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Group Treasurer with provision of data and analysis to enable cash to be effectively managed globally.

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.

Role specific responsibilities:

• Operationally manage the daily cash position

• Prepare Group 13 Week Cash flow forecast for review with Treasury committee.

• FX Management (including use of hedging and derivatives)

• Opening/Closing of bank accounts.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as KYC and AML, and maintain accurate records.

• Maintain Group Bank Mandates

• Quarterly Review of bank charges.

• Online Banking Systems administration monitoring.

• Manage bank queries.

• Support with commercial banking, P2P and Integration projects.

• Loan Management, supporting Group Finance with Intercompany Loan reconciliations and ensuring Loan Register and Loan Agreements are maintained.

• Support Group Treasurer with preparation of monthly Treasury Reporting pack for Treasury committee

• Partner with Divisional Finance teams and other cross-functional teams to deliver process improvements and wider project initiatives.

• Assist in building up the Treasury Operations area to support company growth, including the impact assessment of the new business proposals impacting Treasury.

• Understand the flow of data from back-office Treasury systems through to the General Ledger, and the effects of the cash flows on Liquidity.

Compliance, Process and Controls

• Operate bank accounts in accordance with Treasury Policies and SOMA.

• Reports any unsafe conditions or incidents in the workplace whether procedural or physical.

Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Treasury role

  • Strong Excel skills and comfortable with basic statistical and financial analysis

  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Highly self-motivated and attentive to detail

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Preferences

  • Knowledge of SWIFT framework

  • ACT, CIMA, CFA
