Description

We are in search of a Software Developer to join our client's team. This role involves contributing to their core code base, working on task-specific modules for application systems, and improving existing systems. You will also be expected to collaborate with team members to improve development velocity.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of core code base.

• Code, test, debug, and document new and modified task-specific modules for application systems.

• Participate in daily standups and ad-hoc team meetings to ensure smooth operation.

• Work on the improvement of existing systems by identifying and resolving issues proactively.

• Collaborate with team members to improve and increase development velocity.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest web technologies and make recommendations to more effectively use IT resources and improve application workflow.

• Offer innovative, creative ideas that add value to company's technical offering.

• Participate in future application design specifications and provide input on scope of work meetings.

Requirements

• Experience with PHP and Laravel is required.

• Knowledge of Javascript and jQuery is necessary.

• Familiarity with API Development is essential.

• Must have experience with SQL or MySQL.

• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming is required.

• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a plus.

• Must have knowledge of Linux.

• Candidates should have a strong problem-solving ability.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.

• Candidates need to have a strong attention to detail.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines is necessary.

• Knowledge of current industry trends and advancements is a plus.
