Description
A growing global manufacturing company in Northeast Houston is looking a Controller to join their team. The Controller will have responsibilities for the following:
• Oversees all accounting and finance functions of the US region including: budgeting, FP& A, pricing, cash-flow, cost accounting, vendor’s and contract management, contract billings, inventory control and purchasing.
• Timely reporting of monthly results and analysis according to the group formats.
• Establish and enforce internal control procedures
• Identifying cost savings and potential efficiencies in operations
• Professional interaction with auditors, banks, lawyers and tax authorities.
• Support commercial team by preparing and providing product/project costing and other analyses as requested by the management.
• Managing and training finance team of 5
Ideal candidate will have a must have 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment and 5+ in leadership role. Standard cost experience as well as ERP experience is also required.
