Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team on a contract basis who will be responsible for assisting in the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's financial operations. The successful candidate will have strong analytical, technology, communication and organizational skills. This role will have substantial exposure to senior management throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Identify trends, advise the company, and recommend actions based on sound analysis
Support budgeting and financial forecasting initiatives
Guide cost analysis processes by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
A minimum of 3 years' experience in Accounting or related experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented with superior organizational skills
Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
