Description
Our client is a dynamic and growing company specializing in the manufacturing space. We are currently seeking a skilled Business-to-Business Collections Specialist to join our team in Huntersville, NC. This position offers the opportunity for contract-to-hire employment and provides a challenging yet rewarding environment for professionals with experience in collections.
Responsibilities:
Conduct high volume outbound calls and emails to business customers to collect outstanding debts.
Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with customers to resolve delinquent accounts.
Review and reconcile customer accounts, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of collections activities and customer communications in Excel spreadsheets.
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and prioritize collection efforts based on account aging and risk.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address customer inquiries and disputes.
Provide regular updates on collection efforts and account statuses to management.
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
3 or more years of experience in business-to-business collections roles.
Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively handle difficult conversations.
Experience with high volume outbound collections calls and emails.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting collections activities.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
