Robert Half Patient Care Coordinator in Huntersville, North Carolina

Description We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is based in Huntersville, North Carolina, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of cases, ensuring efficient communication with attorneys and clients, and coordinating necessary transportation for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee a high volume of patient cases and ensure timely processing

• Sign electronic HIPAA release forms to ensure patient data privacy

• Coordinate transportation for patients to the provider's office or pharmacy

• Conduct regular communication via email and phone calls with attorneys and clients

• Send necessary documentation to the attorney's office as required

• Utilize various systems for efficient case management

• Leverage CRM and other software skills, like Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, and Dentrix Dental Software, for effective patient care coordination

• Handle legal aspects related to patient care, including legal agreements and billing

• Be responsible for client administration and communication

• Use Microsoft Outlook for email communication and scheduling.

This role requires a background in the healthcare industry, with a preference for those who have experience in law firms, insurance, or billing. Spanish language skills are an added advantage. Requirements • Must possess knowledge and experience in healthcare, hospitals, and social assistance industry.

• Proficiency in using Allscripts, Banner Ads, Cerner Technologies, CRM, and Dentrix Dental Software is required.

• Experience in answering inbound calls, authorizations, benefit functions, and billing functions.

• Ability to create charts and graphs.

• Understanding of accident insurance, legal assistant duties, legal agreements, and legal billing.

• Proficiency in client administration and client communication.

• Must have experience in billing and client administration.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is a must.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Must have a professional and empathetic approach to patient care.

• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
