Description

Robert Half, a leading staffing agency known for providing firms with promising talent, is currently representing a prestigious public accounting firm. Our client is urgently seeking a highly competent Tax Preparer to join their team for the tax season. The ideal candidate should hold considerable experience in tax return preparation for both business and individual returns.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently prepare individual (1040) and business tax returns (1120 and 1065).

  • Ensure all tax returns comply with federal and state tax laws.

  • Review financial records, expense reports, and income statements to prepare returns accurately.

  • Provide clients with top-notch service, responding to inquiries in a timely manner.

  • Keep up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of comprehensive experience in tax preparation for both businesses and individuals, particularly with 1040, 1120, and 1065 forms.

  • Extensive knowledge regarding federal and state tax laws and regulations.

  • Exceptional communication skills with an ability to explain tax complexities to clients clearly.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
