Robert Half AP/AR Clerk in Huntsville, Alabama

Description We are seeking an AP/AR Clerk to join our team located in Huntsville, Alabama. The role involves handling accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and interacting with customers. This role is based in a manufacturing industry environment and requires a blend of administrative and accounting skills.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

• Maintaining and updating financial records and databases

• Regularly conducting cycle count and inventory checks to ensure adequate inventory

• Assisting in the production control process to ensure smooth operations

• Utilizing accounting software systems and ERP solutions for efficient work processes

• Handling and resolving customer inquiries related to accounts payable and receivable

• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary

• Processing purchase orders and coordinating with the manufacturing team for timely delivery of manufactured products

• Maintaining a high level of proficiency in MS Office and Excel for financial reporting and data analysis

• Learning and adapting to new software systems as required, including proprietary software like Visual. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ERP Solutions

• Knowledge of Accounting Functions

• Ability to manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Understanding of Adequate Inventory management

• Familiarity with Cycle Count and ability to Perform Cycle Count

• Experience with Purchase Orders

• Understanding of Manufactured Products

• Previous experience in Manufacturing or Manufacturing Company

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• High level of integrity and reliability

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
