We are offering an opportunity for a Database Developer role within our team. The location for this role is Huntsville, Alabama, United States. The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that align with our business goals.

Must have security clearance

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures.

• Develop and optimize database systems for end-users and system efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, maintaining data integrity and security.

• Collaborate with team members to determine data requirements and business needs.

• Implement strategies to ensure effective management and maintenance of data.

• Create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development.

• Evaluate and recommend new database technologies and management systems.

• Use tools like 'Microsoft SQL Server', 'Erwin Data', 'AB Testing', 'Data Warehousing', 'Design', 'ETL - Extract Transform Load', 'Flat File' to support database development tasks.

• Develop and manage database access systems, ensuring high levels of data availability.

• Evaluate database performance, regularly conduct database backups, and perform database recovery procedures.

Requirements • Proficiency in Database and Database Object development

• Knowledge and experience in EO/IR systems

• Proficiency in Erwin Data modeling tool

• Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server

• Experience in AB Testing methodologies

• Proficiency in Data Warehousing

• Experience in Designing database models

• Knowledge and experience in ETL - Extract Transform Load processes

• Ability to work with Flat File databases

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Database Developer or in a similar role. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
