Robert Half HR Coordinator in Hutchins, Texas

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Coordinator in Hutchins, Texas. This role is primarily focused on handling human resources-related duties in the industry. The workplace is professional and fast-paced, where you will be responsible for a multitude of tasks ranging from recruitment to employee relations management.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various HR duties including recruitment, updating employee handbooks and managing employee relations.

• Post job openings, schedule interviews, and correspond with candidates as part of the recruitment process.

• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities such as preparation of offer letters, conducting orientations, and ensuring completion of necessary paperwork.

• Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases, updating employee records and generating reports as needed.

• Support benefits administration processes including open enrollment, resolving employee inquiries, and liaising with benefits providers.

• Handle HR-related inquiries and requests from employees and provide accurate and timely information or direct them to the appropriate resource.

• Organize training sessions, meetings, and employee engagement activities.

• Maintain HR documentation ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures and legal regulations.

• Contribute to special HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

• Utilize HRIS payroll system to manage and monitor employee accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration

• Experience with HRIS System and HRIS Payroll System

• Understanding of HR Compliance and HR Payroll System

• Knowledge of HR Policy and Employee Relations

• Familiarity with Onboarding and New Employee Orientation

• Ability to develop and implement Policies & Procedures

• Experience in Personnel File Maintenance

• Comfortable handling terminations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred

• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
