Description We are on the hunt for a Sr. Accountant to join our team in HYANNIS, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial information through research and analysis of banking and accounting data, preparing financial reports, and maintaining financial systems. We offer a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Research and analyze banking and accounting data to provide accurate financial information

• Prepare daily and monthly financial and investment reports for all levels of the organization

• Participate in the preparation of consolidated and audited financial statements

• Update financial systems for daily and monthly activity

• Maintain and resolve unreconciled bank transactions

• Record financial transactions and prepare journal entries by compiling and analyzing account information

• Review, track, analyze, and reconcile all information for accuracy and compliance

• Prepare a monthly cash report for senior management comparing current year to prior year cash activity and explaining variances

• Monitor daily banking activity for the entire organization, report any suspicious activity, and note any unusual activity

• Prepare cash flow forecasting reports. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Strong skills in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of General Ledger

• Ability to prepare Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

• Experience with Month End Close

• Knowledge of NetSuite software

• Experience with Oracle software

• Proficiency in SAP software.
