Description

Candidates looking to work with a dynamic organization with a growing team will be interested in this Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position, where they will match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The Accounts Payable Clerk role will be situated in the Indianapolis, Indiana area and is a permanent employment.
How you will make an impact
Execute additional tasks as needed
Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed
Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling
Complete full-cycle A/P
Provide customer service to internal business partners
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Provide support during internal and external audits
Requirements - Proficiency in PeopleSoft
Microsoft Excel experience required
PeopleSoft experience
Accounts Payable (AP) experience
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
