Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the financial industry for an Accounts Payable Associate at our workplace in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves managing both corporate and store level accounts, ensuring all expenses are appropriately recorded, and assisting in various special projects, while providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the accounts payable for all corporate and store level accounts.
• Assist with the timely recording of all expenses.
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager with reconciliations and credit cards.
• Ensure excellent customer service, communicating effectively with Accounting, Operations, and business partners to resolve discrepancies.
• Participate in special projects as needed, including process improvement initiatives.
• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft for various tasks and duties.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in processing customer credit applications.
• Keep accurate customer credit records. Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar financial software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Demonstrated understanding of basic accounting principles.
