Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are in search of a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana. In this role, you will primarily be in charge of managing and processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and responding to customer inquiries. Furthermore, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately process vendor invoices.
• Address inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee vendor accounts and take necessary actions as required.
• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Manage accounts payable using specific software, tracking systems, and spreadsheets.
• Process, sort, code, and enter invoices into the system.
• Conduct regular check runs and data entry operations.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and reporting.
• Ensure correct approval, sorting, coding, and matching of invoices/receipts.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• High level of integrity and reliability
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
