Robert Half Attorney/Lawyer in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is within the legal industry, focusing on Commercial Contracts and Contract Negotiation. The Attorney/Lawyer will be responsible for providing legal counsel, interpreting laws and regulations, and representing our team in legal proceedings.
Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice and guidance on various issues, ensuring compliance with the law
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses
• Represent the organization in court, presenting evidence and arguments as necessary
• Conduct research and analysis of legal problems to inform decision making
• Draft and review various legal documents such as contracts and agreements
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts and agreements
• Advise on contract status, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals
• Communicate and negotiate with external parties (regulators, external counsel, public authority etc.), creating relations of trust. Requirements • Must hold a J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Membership in good standing with the state bar
• Proven experience in handling commercial contracts
• Proficient in contract negotiation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a creative approach
• High level of professionalism and ethical standards
• Excellent analytical and research skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in using legal research software and other related tools.
