Description We are searching for a meticulous Contracts Manager to contribute to our team in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, United States. This role involves critical tasks such as drafting legal documents, managing litigation matters, and effectively communicating with various legal entities. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Draft and review various legal documents and corporate resolutions to safeguard business interests
• Oversee and manage litigation matters, including opening and closing cases
• Liaise with attorneys, court officers, and government agencies regarding litigation and corporate legal matters
• Assist in e-discovery processes, manage legal holds, and gather documents responsive to discovery and investigative requests
• Understand and apply financial concepts such as invoicing, settlement, garnishments, bankruptcy, and financial accruals
• Enhance the quality, cost, and efficiency of external legal services acquired
• Develop and update organizational systems like litigation or corporate governance databases
• Track case developments in a database and maintain relevant files and reports
• Stay up-to-date with project progress and milestones, and follow up on pending items
• Report on insured matters and notify insurance of claims and potential claims
• Utilize skills such as '3M', 'Adobe Acrobat', 'ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode', 'Banner Ads', 'Business systems', 'Amendments', 'Auditing', 'Billing Functions', 'Claim Administration', 'Clinical Trial Operations' in executing duties. Requirements • Proficiency in 3M and Adobe Acrobat software.
• Familiarity with Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS).
• Experience in creating and managing Banner Ads.
• Knowledge of Business Systems and their applications.
• Ability to create and manage contract amendments.
• Experience in conducting audits and ensuring compliance.
• Understanding of Billing Functions and their role in contract management.
• Experience in Claim Administration, specifically in a contracts context.
• Familiarity with Clinical Trial Operations and their contractual requirements.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• A degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
