Description Join Our Team as a Customer Service Representative!

Further your skills as a Customer Service Representative in the expanding Transport industry through this exciting opportunity at Robert Half. Are you someone who loves creating durable and productive customer relationships? Then this may be the role for you. This position will operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This Customer Service Representative position is based in the Indianapolis, Indiana region and is a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity.

Your responsibilities in this role

  • Organize and route incoming telephone calls

  • Field and send out send written business correspondence

  • Be a part of business development by by actively cross-selling and referring customers

  • Give exceptional customer service in a timely fashion Requirements

  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information

  • A consistently positive approach to your work that is rooted in a businesslike professionalism

  • Customer service experience highly desired

  • Communication Skills experience

  • Strong familiarity with WMS System (REQUIRED)

  • SAP experience preferred

  • Order entry experience desired

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Comfort and confidence when interacting with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Demonstrated experience performing extensive research to resolve complex customer inquiries

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • Strong technical skills including proficiency with MS Office

    • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly
  • 2+ years' experience of demonstrated performance in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred
