Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana
A client of ours in Indianapolis is currently seeking to fill a 6 month contract for a Desktop Support Analyst role. The Desktop Support Analyst is someone with a flair for clearly breaking down and explaining convoluted technical information in a way that is easily understood by non-technical users. This is a position you will thrive in if you are a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and a solid working experience with SCCM. This Desktop Support Analyst will work Monday-Friday onsite at the Indianapolis office.
What you do as the Desktop Support Analyst:
Administer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems
Support records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities
Interact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters for Tier II/III escalated issues
Follow the defined department ITIL processes and procedures
Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors
Rectify computer problems, and suggest appropriate action/solutions
Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals
Work on team projects as needed
What you bring to the role:
5+ years of desktop support or other related experience supporting escalated Tier II/III hardware and software issues
Experience using a ticketing system, ServiceNow is preferred
Mandatory current experience with Windows 10 installation, support and troubleshooting
Experience in building/imaging software for deploying corporate standard images to standard desktop hardware using SCCM or Intune
iPhone configuration, support, and user assistance, including mobile device management solutions such as Intune
Understanding of Service Management concepts.
Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to prioritise own workload and meet agreed deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively
