Robert Half International Finance Manager in INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana
The Finance Manager provides financial and operational expertise directly supporting the management team in establishing, controlling and analyzing costs and profitability. This role is responsible for managing a comprehensive cost control system to ensure that projects are within budget and recommend process improvements. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to expand responsibilities and use the role as a path to broader regional or corporate financial analysis and management positions. Primary Responsibilities ? Work with divisional, regional and corporate peers to drive continuous improvement of costs, processes, and systems and ensure consistency of costing methods across the company ? Initiate agreements and negotiations with vendors to maximize value, quality and delivery ? Update and maintain sales, pricing and cost information for all active and future projects ? Project costs for new projects as part of the overall business plan ? Review plans for standardization of components, options, and construction methods.

Requirements: Qualified candidates will be degreed in Accounting or Finance. A minimum of 5+ years? experience in a financial analyst/cost position is required with demonstrated attention to detail. Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills will be necessary as will the ability to demonstrate good leadership qualities. Exceptional problem analysis and problem solving skills. Ability to convert financial analysis into meaningful operational recommendations and drive action and process improvement.
