Responsibilities:
Oversee all bookkeeping aspects, managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate transaction recording.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entries and adjustments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data.
Maintain organized and updated financial records for audits and reporting.
Engage in financial and operational projects as needed.
Requirements
This role offers an opportunity to become an integral part of our team, leveraging your expertise while contributing to various projects and client support. A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a matrixed organization with a high volume of financial transactions.
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and formulas.
Experience with accounting software, preferably QuickBooks or similar platforms.
Strong grasp of accounting principles and regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Flexibility to work on-site 5 days a week, with potential for a hybrid schedule based on project needs.
