Robert Half HR Assistant in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

We are seeking a proactive and dedicated HR Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support for the HR department, including handling employment records, scheduling appointments, and providing information to employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions.

  • Handle administration of the hiring process, including scheduling interviews.

  • Perform orientations and organize training sessions.

  • Update and maintain employee records.

  • Provide clerical support to the HR department.

  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training seminars.

  • Answer employees' queries and forward them to the HR department as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Human Resources or relevant field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Staff Assistant, or relevant administrative role.

  • Familiarity with HR software and MS Office (MS Excel in particular).

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Knowledge about HR processes and employment laws is a plus.
