Robert Half Inventory Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Inventory Clerk in Indianapolis, Indiana. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be essential in maintaining and improving our inventory system within a dynamic industry. This role will require you to manage stock merchandise, liaise with suppliers, maintain databases, and assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing sales history and inventory levels to ensure optimal stock management

• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any product quality issues

• Maintaining and updating the Product, Purchasing, and Supplier Databases to ensure accurate data

• Assisting in resolving production, shipping, receiving, and billing errors to maintain smooth operations

• Communicating with Customer Service regarding merchandise and delivery issues, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Sending necessary components to suppliers to aid in the production of certain items

• Preparing statistical reports for management to provide insights on inventory status and sales history

• Identifying problems within the inventory process and implementing effective solutions

• Assisting Managers in various duties as directed to ensure efficient operations

• Utilizing skills such as ERP Solutions, Auditing, and Clerical Duties to perform tasks effectively and efficiently.

This role does not require transition into a permanent or full-time position. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required

• Familiarity with Cerner Technologies is necessary

• Experience with Epic Software is a must

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is required

• Familiarity with About Time software is necessary

• Experience in answering inbound calls is highly valued

• Proven experience in auditing is required

• Ability to create charts and graphs is highly appreciated

• Prior experience in clerical duties is a must.
