Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Senior Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for administering payroll operations, utilizing various accounting software systems, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will operate within a dynamic team and play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
• Administering payroll operations effectively and efficiently
• Utilizing accounting software systems
• Implementing and managing 401k - RRSP Administration processes
• Executing various accounting functions accurately
• Conducting regular auditing to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Managing benefit functions for employees
• Utilizing Crystal Reports to create comprehensive financial reports
• Leveraging 'About Time' software for time tracking and management
• Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering employee payroll queries
• Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations.
Requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Knowledge and experience in Crystal Reports
• Proficiency in 401k and RRSP Administration
• Experience with About Time software
• Familiarity with general Accounting Functions
• Proven experience in Auditing
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Ability to work in a senior role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant certifications would be a plus.
