Description
We are in search of a Software Application Engineer V to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in planning, conducting, and coordinating business programming applications in areas such as finance, human resources, and marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct feasibility studies for new data processing applications or revisions to existing systems.
• Prepare system development cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare and present project proposals to management and user departments, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Establish programming standards and documentation requirements, ensuring efficient operation of the function.
• Review current status of system applications and prepare recommendations for system improvements.
• Monitor design processes and prepare reports on systems projects.
• Oversee the preparation, presentation, and follow-up of major projects.
• Establish operational objectives and assignments, delegating when necessary.
• Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires the ability to find new solutions, demonstrating leadership skills.
• Liaise regularly with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
• Implement system requirements for complex customer systems and/or prepare studies and analyze existing systems.
• Troubleshoot project problems to ensure project success and maintain client relationships.
Requirements
• Demonstrable experience in Software Application Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record in Customer Service and Communication.
• Strong Management and Leadership skills.
• Excellent Documentation and Presentation skills.
• Experience in Marketing and Training.
• Knowledge of Procedures and Policy implementation.
• Familiarity with Planning Processes and Budget Processes.
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration is desirable.
• Design skills, particularly in Software Application Design.
• Knowledge of Finance procedures and best practices.
• Proven ability to Troubleshoot and solve technical issues.
• Experience in Software Implementation.
• Ability to act as a Liaison between different teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional Communication Skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Configuration Management tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA-Regulated environments is a plus.
• Ability to work with C-Suite level stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with time management tools such as 'About Time'.
• Ability to develop and implement effective Methods for problem-solving
