Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as a Staff Accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role primarily involves handling different accounting functions across various industries.
Responsibilities:
• Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Processing individual and small business tax returns
• Managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Working with QuickBooks online & desktop for accounting operations
• Handling ad hoc accounting functions as required
• Performing general ledger duties
• Making journal entries for record-keeping
• Ensuring timely month-end close. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Demonstrated ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations
• Expertise in maintaining the General Ledger
• Experience in preparing and recording Journal Entries
• Familiarity with Month End Close processes
• Proficiency in using QuickBooks accounting software
• Experience in preparing tax returns
