Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will be expected to carry out various accounting functions in a hybrid workplace after an initial period of 5 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle the general ledger processes and ensure accuracy in all entries.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Carry out bank reconciliations to verify the company's financial status.

• Create basic financial reports to provide an overview of the company's financial situation.

• Use Sage software to manage and analyze financial data (not mandatory but beneficial).

• Utilize Excel for data management and pivot tables.

• Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.

• Conduct month-end close procedures and prepare relevant journal entries.

• Use financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Display an outgoing personality and ability to get tasks done efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in using financial software including NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP.

• Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Proven experience with Bank Reconciliations.

• Understanding of General Ledger management.

• Skilled in creating and managing Journal Entries.

• Ability to execute Month End Close activities efficiently.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
