Description We are seeking a Staff Tax Accountant to join our team based in an undisclosed location. As a Staff Tax Accountant, you will be expected to perform tasks including tax return preparation, maintaining Balance Sheets, and Profit & Loss statements. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you will utilize various accounting software systems and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tax returns for both individuals and businesses accurately.

• Evaluate and rectify client QuickBooks files.

• Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all accounting functions.

• Ensure strict adherence to accuracy in all financial statements.

• Manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

• Guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as ATX and QuickBooks effectively.

• Maintain and understand Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• Facilitate entity formation processes when required. Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Tax Accountan

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential

• Familiarity with CaseWare software is required

• Proficiency in using CCH IntelliConnect is necessary

• Must be well-versed with CCH Prosystem

• Experience in using CCH ProSystem Fx is expected

• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions is required

• Prior experience in Auditing is essential

• Must have knowledge of Compliance regulations and standards

• Familiarity with Entity Formation is expected

• Experience in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements is required

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary
