Robert Half Tax Director/Manager - Corporate in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description We are in search of a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate to join our team based in Indianapolis, Indiana. The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing organization, with a key focus on managing tax oversight. This role will also involve exposure to international tax considerations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all corporate tax duties and responsibilities.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

• Prepare and review annual income tax provisions.

• Manage and perform various accounting functions as needed.

• Document all tax-related procedures and maintain an organized record of all tax files and documents.

• Handle international tax matters and ensure compliance with U.S. international tax laws.

• Address and resolve customer inquiries related to tax matters.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

• Regularly review and update company tax strategies and regulations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure tax compliance across all areas of the organization. Requirements • Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Corporate Tax Director or Manager role or similar

• Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is required

• Must possess experience in Annual Income Tax Provision

• Demonstrated ability to ensure Compliance in all tax-related matters

• Must possess strong Documentation skills

• Extensive knowledge of Federal Tax is essential

• Experience with U.S. International Tax is highly desirable

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• CPA certification or Master's degree in Taxation is highly preferred

• Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is expected

• Must be up-to-date with the latest industry trends and tax law changes.
