We are seeking a Tax Accountant to join our team and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Tax Manager, the Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing tax returns and providing tax planning services for high net worth individuals and families. This role will also provide support to the Tax Manager and other team members on tax-related matters and help to maintain and develop client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for high net worth individuals and families, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations

  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities and optimize financial outcomes

  • Research and analyze tax laws and regulations related to high net worth individuals and families and provide guidance to team members and clients on their implications

  • Maintain and develop client relationships, responding to client inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist with tax-related projects, including tax research and analysis, tax planning strategies, and tax compliance initiatives

  • Assist with financial statement preparation and review, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations

  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations related to high net worth individuals and families, and communicate those changes to team members and clients

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of processes and procedures to improve tax compliance and planning services

  • Other duties as assigned by the Tax Manager or other members of the leadership team

    Requirements

  • High attention to detail

  • Bachelors or masters degree in Accounting or relevant field required

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • 2+ years of public or corporate tax

  • CPA highly preferred

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Problem-solving and creative thinking skills
